Motivational Monday Psalm 27:14 NIV“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”Break VS Brakes ….It’s necessary at times for God to give us a timeout, a break, a moment so that some things can play and pan out the way HE planned. Often times we mistake a “break” for putting on “brakes”. We can’t consume ourselves with things that aren’t concerning to the Lord…Prayer is key…. waiting on the Lord as outlined two times in the verse Psalm 27:14. There are instructions in this verse. Before we do anything or make any decisions we need to learn how to wait for the Lord, seek him, pray, and in the process be strong and take heart and again it says wait on the Lord. It’s a process. Seeking him before, during and after is important. We should not only want what God wants for us BUT also want it when HE wants it for us…Getting things too quick can be problematic because we won’t be prepared to deal and handle everything that comes with it. God wants us to be aware of the difference…while there are times to take breaks during the process there’s also things that we will have to put the brakes on…This requires us to be willing to give up some things and ways that may contradict the characteristics of Christ.Don’t Stop. Don’t Settle. Keep Stepping. #LimitlessLightMinistries #ShaePratcher #DailyBread
